What kind of Plant can I insure under this policy?

Most items of Contractors’ Plant can be insured under this policy with the exception of the following:-

• Road Surfacing Equipment including Hot Boxes
• Agricultural Plant
• Road Sweepers
• Quad Bikes or ATVs
• Timber and Forestry Equipment
• Waste, Recycling or Landfill equipment
• Drilling Rigs

What does it Cover?

Plant and Equipment insured under this policy is covered against 'All Risks' of Accidental Damage, Fire and Theft

Does it Cover Plant travelling on the Public Highway?

There is the option to add this type of cover – just tick the box to add it

How long does it take to get a quote?

It’s really quick – 2 minutes and if you want to buy the policy, another 5 minutes or so, that’s all.

What if I don’t know the exact details of the equipment being hired eg Make / Model / Serial Number?

If you don’t know the precise details then in the 'Make' field select 'unknown' from the drop down list; in the 'Serial / Registration Number' field type 'To Be Confirmed'; in the 'Type of Machinery' field type a generic description eg '3 tonne Excavator'.

What if the job takes longer than expected and I need to extend the Period of Cover?

Cover can be extended as needed provided the total period doesn’t exceed 30 days in total and provided the expiry date of the policy hasn’t passed

How quickly will I received the paperwork?

They are emailed to you within minutes of buying the policy.

Where can I get a summary of the Cover provided or Policy Document?
